Hi, I am new and was trying to search for any topics on X5 3.0D gearbox issues. I had nothing returned in the search so have started this new topic. I have had a failure and need to get a quote for a rebuild. I live in Northern Ireland but am trying to find out if this is a common issue and what experience other members have had etc. It's an expensive rebuild on an old car (2003) so I am trying to ensure I'm not overspending or doing the wrong thing before I commit.
