does any body live in the devon area and are there any meets down this way or perhaps we can arrange one let me know please. -
you need to get hold of the ecu for that engine also there is a small black box which is for the imobiliser just under the steering column i had the same problem the only way i solved it was buying a donor car with the engine running i swaped the ecu and wiring loom + the little box under the column the car started straight off the key

is there any meets in the south west ,my son also now owns a bmw e39 and has told me that there is a bmw meet down here every two months

the lights were changed for chrome angel eyes for the front and chrystal rear lights -
i have also refurbished the original m3 alloys -
and here is the finished article after a full respray and mopped then polished . :rolleyes: -
here the car was rubbed down with 1200 wet n dry awaiting to be mopped :rolleyes: -
this is with all the front removed as i had to repaint the front grill and bumper -
This is my bmw here in a sorry state in a salvage yard last year she was brought back to my garage and with some tlc she was transformed back into her glory :rolleyes: -
hi andy Is there any members from devon as my son owns a e39 and as you know i have nearly completed my e36 convertible i have been told there is a big meeting in may where all the bmw owners from devon and cornwall meet up do you know any body who knows about this regards phil h (phil n aimee )

I have finally completed the body work on my convertible i have don all the mechanical work i have just now got to restore the interior then i am ready for the summercant wait :rolleyes: -
Does any body know the sequence when your electric roof looses its power to allow the hood to go down please regards phil

i have had a few beemers two 3 series both e36 and two e39 i have always wanted a convertible this came up could not resist it so i drove all the way to surrey to fetch it i was rebuilding another one from a shell but nearly finished it off i sold that one off cheap got loads of pics of that one from a shell to nearly built i put a 2.5 straight six in that one and started to paint it mg blue
yeh much better down here my son just finding out where all the car scenes are down here and i will be taking a cruise along this summer with the top down cant wait
used to live in birmingham moved down to devon now
