Hi Everyone Looking to sell my 330i which I have loved and cared for since June 2007. It has 154311 miles on the clock It has a fully stamped service book and I have got full service documentation for my ownership during which time I have had it serviced at a local BMW specialist independent. MOT'd till March 14 Taxed till Jan 14. It has the higher power (M54 - 3,00l (170kW)engine that as I understand it came in with the 2001 models. It has the M sports pack suspension It drives very well and the full leather (black) interior is in pretty good condition. On the minus side: If I try and reverse up a VERY steep hill the gearbox 'slips' and progress is a tad slow. It reverses fine in normal road use. It has a dent in the nearside rear door caused (I think) by a supermarket trolley. The parking sensors do not work (suspect one of the sensors has failed) Heated rear screen does not work. The oil level warning light comes on when the engine is started then goes out after 10secs or so. My service guy tells me the sensor is faulty and I decided that rather than replace it, it was cheaper to use the other sensor (dipstick!). Make me an offer!! Hi all -- new to the forum. I have a 2000 330i SE Touring . I am confused as to exactly what engine I have as there appears to be a different model for 2000 and 2001. My car feels like it accelerates faster than the 9.5 secs of the 2000 spec but it was registered in Sept 2000! A CAP valuation gives this technical information: Engine Power 170bhp 0-62 9.5secs I tried doing a VIN check on line but the VIN I haver taken from my windscreen is returned as invalid :( WBAAW52090JU50072 On the car the J does have a Serif at the top but I cannot see that this is anything other than a J ( I tried T!) Can anyone help me to check this VIN ?
