If you're gonna upgrade then go for a HID kit 35 quid ;)

Is there much to modify or fit as i dont really want to start cutting cables etc etc, do you have a link to a good kit that would work for me?

Sorry for the late reply mate, cheers for the advise, not sure i can stretch to the new headlights so i will be looking at just getting some brighter bulbs, unfortunatley i just had my battery die but the old one was 8 years old so its had a good innings.

When i get them i'll let you know what i think.

My headlights are dia, I have seen some zenon bulbs on ebay (Halfords want 25 quid each) that would directly replace the standard bulbs. Think there H7 477?

Question is really, would they work ok with out any cable or relay mods? and do they give off more light as it says on the tin (box really) or is that tripe to try to sell them to you?

Or has anyone got any better ideas?? (angle eyes I'd love but cost to much)

Just like to say hi from the midlands, I have just bought another BMW, its a year 2000 535i, not to sure which model it is, but its a great drive and still like new, only covered 90,000 miles, I will post some pictures up soon when shes clean.(found one just before I bought it)

I have previously owned a couple of other BM's, a grey 2002 on a N plate I think it was, used to smoke like a mother on the over run and a E21 323i Alpina (another nail but good fun) Had a problem with the head (oil in water) as it was the original engine the head was cracked along the cam journals so had to have it welded and line bored but then sadly had no more money to do anything else to the car, I even got a dog leg box for it,
