I've seen people have them coded to the key fob for lock/unlock but not sure about removing keys from the ignition though. I personally haven't had it done. Does anyone know if the motors wear out from excessive use or anything?

Hi Trevor welcome! Yes as Daz says no such thing as a 318ti M3. I would agree about removing the M3 badge unless it has the relevant lump under the bonnet. Don't worry - the 318ti is still a nice little motor though!
