So iv been playing I got a direct replacement k&n panel filter cost £38,not much different from the paper filter apart from my mpg was much better. befor I was getting around 21.3mpg it went up to 23mpg great. I have just fitted a new carbon csl air intake system (wow). it stung my wallet but well worth it, the sound is awesome not looked into the mpg at this moment, but hell it gives you a even bigger grin!!

hi all new to this, had my e46 m3 now for just over a month and loving it :D , after some advice on which air intake is the best for it, I no all about the carbon csl, thinking more on the lines of k&n/pipercross/ or bmc.
