I'm looking to fit an M40 manifold to my 1996 323i coupe, I know it will increase my hp and am hoping to increase my mpg. Has anyone done this? If so am I right and what problems might have come across -

Hello all, I bought my first BMW about 18 months ago, was looking for a new car(to me!!) and found her sat outside a chip shop in Castleford, She's not the prettiest or the newest, but i loved the way she looked, the wife even christened her Betty and the name seems to have stuck!! What is she? 1996 E36 323i Coupe, in red. I've done a few bits and pieces on her, but finding out there's alot more under the bonnet i can do. The aim is to restore back to near as showroom as I can, so apologies in advance for asking what would seem to be simple questions to those in the know. Cheers Paul
