  1. But not got mine listed! Don't make it easy for you do they! Thanks Jack anyway, the people I'm talking to say the correct one for the chassis is 3.46, they have one in apparently good condition, £450. Seems best bet unless anyone knows better?
  2. Either way - very difficult to source! Thanks again for the help. Another quick question - do you know what differential ratio it is for a 2007 320i SE E92? That's my new problem...
  3. Thanks for the responses and apparently you can't do second hand, as Jack correctly says... Cost me £1400... :-(
  4. Hi all, hope I've got this in the right section... My 6 year old E92 (320i SE) has had endless problems with the engine, the starters, ignition coils you name it. I've been on forums before and seen that this engine does have it's issues but so far they've all been solved relatively inexpensively since the warranty ran out. Now my garage has told me that the ECU has 'failed' and they have no way of testing it to see if repairable. I'm not taking it to BMW as I don't have a money tree and my garage is well known and the head mecahnic is a good mate, so they won't b*llsh*t me. Anyway, the ECU has been sent to Bosch in Germany and come back saying they are unable to test it. Solution now is to buy a new one but at over £1200 incl everything I'd rather have one last crack at seeing if it can get repaired. Does anyone know a decent ECU tester or have had similar problems? Should ECU's fail after only six years? I'm guessing I have no comeback on BMW but this car is a real lemon, anyone else sharing my frustration? Shame because I love it (and my last coupe to bits). L
