Hi sorry to hear about your misfortune hope it doesnt put you off buying another e38 my 2000 sport has cost me a small fortune so much so my wife hates this car but i am determined to get it sorted as i think its a great car

HI I have the same problem my grandson dropped a 1p piece down the front lighter socket i've checked fuse no42 it seemed ok but i replaced it anyway but the lighter sockets front and rear still wont work Q did you sort yours ?
