  1. why would an airlock just occur? its not ran out of fuel?
  2. first time poster Recently driving to the airport and the dreaded red engine management light came on, engine power cut out and coasted to the next layby. Rac came and did some disgnostics and the the faults indicated the fuel pressure sensor, RAC unable to restart so towed it back home to a BMW specialist garage. Garage seem to think its the fuel pump as there is lowpressure but no high pressure. car is BMW 118d 68k, i have no price yet off the garage as he is wanting to be 110% certain that is the problem. Anyone had the same problem? Have I got any valid warrenty on this pump? I sense this is going to be expensive many thanks
