Hi I'm also interested in this. . . I wish to get 730d but not sure about the model to go for. ....I'm in love with F01 but the cheapest is £18k So older maybe the one for me right now, but really need 30mpg around town

Hi all. I'm new here and wishing to get 730d due to economy, The question is. .....: is the older 2006 3.0 diesel engine the same as new 2009-2010 (f01) ???????? The only thing I know is that the older one running less power so if I get the older one and re-map it Will it be same power as the new one and will it bring me 30mpg in town and 50mpg on the run ????????
