Cheers gents... Nightmare only got her to run around in for a few months whilst the missus sells her Polo

Its been stood a month but just done Birmingham to Leeds then ive had a good look at her

Hi All just taken over the reigns of my Mums z3 2.8 on a 98 reg shes not serviced her for a while and I can tell. The roof leaks etc but I can handle that myself however Battery dies 12 hrs after charging - alternator? No heating unless its at a standstill - ???? Engine temperature never leaves cold mayo under filler cap - It all points me to the headgasket but I have read other people saying the thermostat being stuck open would cause all these issues :/ any ideas?
