    Stereo Removal Issues

    Its ok I have finally worked it ou after 2 days. Sometimes its better to walk away for an hour to clear your head. In case anyone else has this problem here is what to do. Do as above then where you have removed the 2 tip screws at the top of the main unit there are 2 little clips that you need to pull towards you which releases the unit and you can then remove it. TFFT !!!

    Stereo Removal Issues

    HI there, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have just bought a new 1 series base model and I am trying to fit a parrot kit to it but cannot get the stereo/head unit out. I have managed to get the vents out at the top but the heating controls and the stereo below is stuck solid. I have removed the 2 tip screws at the top underneath the vents but I cant see anything else that is holding it in. Please help me... its doing my head in !!!! :angry: cheers. Stuart
