We are now the proud owner of an X5 (need to amend my user details accordingly). We have not found the seats cold but that may be due to the mild weather we are having. They seem very comfortable possibly because they are Nappa? leather. I did not know what that was until we bought the car. We are more than happy with the car and the seats. The car drives very well. Thanks for the advice we have received. JR

Hi I am considering buying a 2006 X5. It has most of the goodies I want but it does not have heated seats. We own an Audi which has cloth seats, and I am wondering how useful/essential heating seats would be. Also is it possible to get the existing seats fitted with heating units. Any responses would be appreciated. JR
