    Newbie With Key Problems On X5

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help us, we have just bought a X5 & the spare key battery was dead, so I found instructions to replace it, I also got the guide how to reprogram the spare key, which I carried out, the first way ( using a working key) did not work, so I used the second way, this only half worked, I could open the boot & unlock the doors, but would not lock, I tried it a couple of times & got the same result, so I gave up, I tried to start the car with the main key, but it would not start, it just made a electrical click, now i'm stuck with a nice X5 on my drive that don't work. If anyone has had this problem & would share what they know it would be much appreciated. Thanks John
