The best thing to do is to take it back to the MoT centre that passed it, and ask them to produce you with proof that its legal. That'll be the best way to prove that. As for the the rubber strips, there caravan spacers, to stop the car bottoming out when towing heavy loads. They don't really raise the suspension, like i said there more to stop the car bottoming out. Ive used them on a few of my motors when ive had big wide rims to stop them rubbing. Anyway best of luck with it.

I'll be there! Sounds like its gonna be a blinder

Your luck fella. Mind you you have done a nice job of the motor since. Any of you's doing this tunnel run on the 17th?

Simon,
When is this event? Want to come along
-
Fook me Dave, your lucky you got off as lightly as you did? Just seen the photos. Is it the motor you got know? Cheers Gav, been a labour of love.Fitted all my carbon trim this week. Get some photo's up soon.

Cheers fella, got a bit more to do but getting there. Start working back on my 6 when the 3's done.

Cheers fella, its appreciated. Been grafting on her, but loved every minute of it. Still got a bit to do but getting there. Like it tight as possible, saves it getting hit. Sideway into a post don't sound good? I bet i can guess who the winner was there!

True that but it gets in your head!

Hi Neil,
How old is she & how hard do you drive? I had a 330ci Sport and i was topping her up with a litre of oil a month. I thought similar things to you, and had it checked regularly by BM specialist but they couldn't find fault and put it down to my driving. I had no visible leaks with no smoke and the car drove fine. I didn't have starting problems but i did have it on my old E36 with turned out to be the crank shaft sensor, with was fine after i had it changed.

Cheers Gav, Dave. Had it dropped this week Dave, ain't gone to mental, gone for 30 - 15 drop. Will try and get more photo's up at the end of the week. Got my plate from Craigs Plates off the net. They done the one on my 6, so thought it would be rude not to.

Hi Ian,
I have had my 6 series remapped, and i would seriously give AMD in Lakeside Essex. They done the work on mine and the power gains where good. They are currently racing in the BTCC and really know there stuff. I know you are quiet a distance from you but give them a look if you want a top job done!

Alright fella!

Cheers Chris

Thanks Char

Guys, your right. We'll get as much power out of it as i can then chop it for my next project. Let me know when the next meet/event is? be good to show up and meet everyone.

Thats on my shopping list for my 650, which should make it untouchable, but whats this kit your thinking of making for your 330? I ain't no mechanic so you might have to talk in laymens terms. Lol. Wouldn't know where to even start about making my own kit. As for putting it on my 318, think i would rather upgrade the car to a 328 or M3 Evo and doing it to that. Think it might be wasted on a 1.8

Cheers lads, been a real labour of love over the winter. Everyones beating up on the lights? They ain't that bad but fear not they are getting changed for Hella Angels! Plus got one more trick up my sleeve! An M3 engine swap, but not an E36 an E46 M3! Next winter project! Being a 4 door will then make it pretty rare because everyone does coupes (Dave) lol. I apreciate the comments thou guys. Got some big thins lined up for the 6 as well so as soon as there done i'll get them posted.
