be greatful if anyone can confirm the above for me asap thanx the problem i have with current battery is it wont start unless i jump it with jump leads all that happens is dash lights come on but wont start but head lights flick on and then go off ? once i start it with jump leads i can drive it but it wont start if left for 20 minutes or more. i took it to halfords for battery test and multi meter shows it is dropping down from 11.8 to 11.5 with in a minute and told need a new battery as not holding charge i have been offerd a bosch battery brand new but not sure if it is correct one can anyone confirm if a bosch S5 100 amp 830 cold crank is correct thanx

my battery is dead and have a battery make is bosch it says s5 100 amps 830 cold crank amps can anyone confirm its the right battery for my car e46 coupe1.9 petrol manual w reg thanx guys

as above brake fluid level slowly dropping and found small puddle of fluid at front of side wheel going to check if i can see if its the caliper or brake line im no mechanic what is the worst it could be cash ways has any body had this problem before once i find the leak i will add to this post for advice

i have a silver e46 318 coupe w reg and i want to change the wheels my budget is not huge only around £350.00 thats with out tyres as these will be sourced later my car currently has 18 inch wheels at the moment so will probably keep with 18 inch rims if anyone can give me some suggestions will be great i would like something that looks tasty but for around £350.00 not sure what look i can achive any help would be great cheers

as above has anyone done there own repairs to the front wings due to rust ? i have this problem on my e46 and am thinking i may give it a go. how did you find doing the repair your self and what products did you use cheers

ok thought there may be a gallery of members cars be nice to see some with upraded body kits and stuff as im planning some changes myself and would of liked to get some tips

these are the mirrors im getting to replace mine http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/mirrors/mountney-m3-style-mirrors what do you think still got few jobs need doing #1 repairs to front arches rust and paint bubbling #2 couple of tyres #3 oil change what oil should i use ? #4 get wheels refurbished due to what i think was brake fluid leak on front offside wheel spraying fluid around #5 change lights on bootlid as look dull and old compared to tail lights #6 and would like a body kit front rear bumpers and skirts may have left some things out but will add to above list later will add some pics soon

thanx dave i phoned your guy he had none only drivers side but thanx for help i am looking at these not electric but what do you guys think? they show them with indicators but the ones im getting are with out heres the link http://www.demon-twe...3-style-mirrors other little jobs to do include #1 oil change - what is the correct oil for e46 318 ci w reg #2 get front arches sorted bubbles in paint and rust showing. thought of trying repair my self but not confident i will achive result needed #3 refurb wheels paint peeling on drivers side due to either brake fluid leak or power steering fluid #4 replace wing mirrors #5 couple of tyres needed #6 find out if i can connect an amp to the bmw standard stereo thats fitted in the car #7 replace the tail lights on boot lid as they look very tired against the rear lights #8 once every thing is done and im happy i would like a body kit bumpers skirts nothing over the top just to give a fresh look sure i have missed things out but for now thats all i can think of for now

thanx for reply but going to get some from demon tweeks i cant believe that they are over a tone for a second hand mirror on ebay and car breakers if anyone would like my mirrors bearing in mind one is hanging down were it is broken make me an offer the mirrors im getting are £35.00 ...... they may be of use to someone

hi im new on here and would like some help i have just got a bmw e46 coupe w reg but the passenger mirror is not working its in the boot lol im in kent and wonderd if i can get one from any were? the car is silver but the mirrors are black i am not sure if the mirrors i have are correct ones for the car been told they are m3 ones. just want some cheap silver colour coded mirrors anyone help as these are almost £190.00 each ouch thanx
