Cheers all. I just wanted to know in case the instrument panel needed a bulb replacing :D

Strange question, but when I switch on my headlights, the instrument backlights come on, but I don't have any other indication the headlights are on other than getting out the car and checking myself. The owners manual dosn't really show where a headlight indicator would be. Is this normal?
