i have a 97 3 series convertible with tired seats will coupe or compact seats fit?? or will i have to get convertible seats cheers john

managed to reset rollbarrs using bmw tool lift headrest, there are 2 small cutots on rhs of each rollbar the tool slides down these and releases catch , push down rollbar till it re-latches, while removeing tool, note tool has a lug on it this needs to be at the top. bmw tool was aprox £32 if i had known dimensions of it i could have made one at work

just got e36 cnvertible with rollbars deployed, apparently they are easy to reset, tried varios methods to no avail, bought reset tool from bmw, how do you use it?? i need help urgently. any clues out there, cheers phoenix
