  1. Cheers daz.. great site but im yet to find a Idle control valve on there.... its leading me t believe that there isnt one on my engine.... need to know asap as im out of ideas.
  2. Does the 316ti 1.8 have an idle control valve? If so where is it? also anyone know where online to get a CCV for this model too? urgently need it
  3. I have the same problem, it is sluggish and juddery when cold, but as soon as its warm its ok..but when pulling off at low revs its struggling.......ive changed the coil packs and spark plugs and also cleaned the MAF....but i have one more thing to try this weekend. There is a great video on you tube showing you how to clean the ICV idle control valve... seems to be the top of most peoples lists when it comes to this problem.
  4. Aaron. i have the exact same problem.... mines really sluggish when pulling off... and the engone judders when its idling. but when its warm its ok...but at low revs its dodgey...i too have replaced the coil packs and spark plugs and im yet to cure it..:/ frustrating!!
  5. Hey.. im currently having problems with my 316. its chugging and loosing power especailly on the mornings. at low revvs its sluggish but seems to be fine over 2000 revs. Ive had the spark plugs and coil packs replaced and still no joy. then i had an attempt at cleaning the MAF sensor, and still no change! allthough the car is still drivable, its annoying on the mornings having to sit there and wait for it to warm up. Any suggestions would be a massive help. thanks
