Welcome John. Nothing humble about a 116. Fun little car by all accounts.

Welcome along! I bought an E36 coupe a couple of months ago and haven't looked back! Love it bits now.

Hi Stewart, you may get a little more interest if you post a few basic details. Age, condition and a guide price. :D

Hello, good evening and welcome! :D
-
Sorry Paul, I don't have any real experience of the 5 series, certainly not that new anyway, but welcome along! :D
-
 I'm in tune with that!

If you have any questions about wheels, ask hersham boy. After today he knows all about them! :P

Hi Steve. Sorry I can't offer any help on the cog box, but welcome along.

Hello! Welcome along.
Which part of Keynes? I used to spend half my life in Wavendon.
-
I'm in! :D Having been on this twice now, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Rob takes care of all the arrangements and escorts us on the trip, so even if you haven't driven abroad before, he takes all the worry out of it.
Definately the most fun you can have with your clothes on! :D B)

.... do you use to "detail" your beemer?
Always been fond of good old AutoGlym and Meguiars myself, but I'm no expert when it comes to car care.
-
.... and a couple of mine, cause I always was one for a good bandwagon!
Looking forward to seeing your new tub in the metal Rob. B)

bmw 318 safe mode

Safe mode is when the car develops a fault and reduces the power as a get you home measure. Its supposed to avoid being stuck at the side of the road.
Only way to cure it is to get the underlying fault sorted. Start by getting the fault codes read by a BMW dealer or reputable independent specialist. from there you will be able to get quotes for the repairs.
