Anyone looking to going up day before and camping ?

Have to admit I havnt really had the nasty comments and those who have commented are basically arsehole jealous!!!

I have had the odd typical BMW driver comment but to be fair from my family which is odd as my dad owns a 1 series convertible, 3 series saloon b4 that! which my sis now has! and my bro well he just thinks i have a gangster but although his is almost two years younger than me he went from a sporty one of the seat ibiza's a couple of weeks b4 I changed my BMW to a Honda CRV in black!

Worse comments have actually been from a "friend" who owns and goes to jap car shows, his comment..... BMW owners are boring farts !!! myself excluded apparently! .....

But i really dont care what people think of my car I love it !!! but still think I will actually have a moment of insanity and go change it at one point for the M3 which I sooooooooo nearly bought this time, but my sensible insurance, tax and running cost part of my brain kicked in ... god damn that part of my brain ;)

Ignore them Char you have a great car and the yellow is very cool :D

Was a good day and the weather was amazing :D ... so easy to lose people though when you get drawn in by some of the mean beasts that were shinning ;)

Even my baby came back with a slight mod thanks to Jas --- Nice clean backend !!! and Im talking about my car being debadged!!!! before anyone makes any dodgy comments ;)

Shame didnt get to meet up with a few others though, good to finally meet you Mart, Gav and Mike :D

Hi Jay, Im new to the site as well so welcome :D

My previous car was a 2003 320d it was smooth, amazing on fuel and in the 4.5yrs I owned it I never had a single problem with it!

At the end of May I part ex'd my 320d for a 320d M sport ;) so the 320d cant be too shabby ;) its a lot quicker and more responsive than my last one and a slightly harder ride not surprising with the lower suspension, runflat 19inch wheels i guess, but Im loving it ! tax is cheaper than my last car £100 for the year, and insurnance is actually cheaper than my last car (even with this only being 2yrs old), so far the fuel economy seems about on par with my last one as well so overall maybe Im a little biased but the 320d isnt a bad car :D

Ok ignore my comment about being able to see what members are online, I kept scrolling down the page earlier today and see the members online section :D ....... see I told you I hadnt explored the site that much yet :D

Have to say I disagree with having a womens only section if you have a love of cars and want to be a part of a club it should be something you want to do and I think having a women only section would just cause segregation, as far as Im concerned everyone that wants to join should be here because they are actually interested in the cars and the atmosphere that you get with a car club.... but then perhaps that just my outlook on this sort of stuff i think women have to work hard to be accepted in these sort of clubs anyway so why start to put up walls

Gav, Ive moved around the midlands a fair bit so between M6, M42 and A5 ive prob found myself travelling past you and Mart ;) ..... I head over to tamworth most weekends to see my folks so Im def not adverse to travelling midlands motorways, I still dont really know my way around where I live though even though I have been here 2yrs lol

As Im new to the site, I may not have figured out all the functionality on here yet but something I like on the Celica Club forum site is when you are on the home page you can see who is activly online in one place, which makes it easy just to click on a member and ping them a message (which can be pretty handy esp when your new and maybe not as familar with everyones screen names) they also have a members tab where all the members are listed and you can click on to a person see there profile what they have been posting on and that sort of thing which is pretty cool.

Maybe just take a quick look as Im not sure Ive explained the functionaluty that well :D ......you can register pretty quick as a visitor.
