  1. I'd like some clear rear lights such as on this car: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-323-CI-SE-E46-Auto-/140798803820?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item20c8433f6c#ht_1179wt_1344 But the only ones I've found have an ugly black band to the outside. ALSO, my coupe is an 03 model and I'm not sure whether it comes in the 99-03 bracket or the 03-06 one (I'm new to these and didn't realise there was a difference). This is mine: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3996029.htm Ta!
  2. Interesting. Are heat shields readily available? that seems DAMN cheap for a full SS exhaust!
  3. I'm a real novice mechanically... so why the heat shield and where does it go? where can i get one? and by 'cone' you mean the ones you get in induction kits? how much was your SS exhaust and where from? is there a guide anywhere on this site or on't net giving full details on these sort of mods for this beemer? cheers!
  4. I have a vibration/rattle behind my driver's side door lining when I'm driving and it's really getting on my nerves. It only exists when the window is shut, if I wind it down an inch the noise stops. Can someone tell me how I remove the door lining without !Removed! my airbag up and everything else? I want to see if I can get rid of this rattle! Thanks!!
  5. Hello, I'm thinking of getting these for my 2003 318ci http://www.pxwheels.com/wheels/wheel.php?id=712 What do you guys think of them? Much better than the plain 7 spoke BMW ones I've got on currently. Can anyone recommend any other good sites selling reasonably cheap genuine beemer ones? (Not ebay) Ta!
  6. my local performance car garage said he'd do a remap for £150 as the gains wouldn't be massive what else would you do to pep things up a bit... induction kit? can you recommend any?
  7. The rear parking sensors on my 2003 318 are not working (just bought the car) - there are no beeps or anything. Any ideas what to try to solve this? Thanks!
  8. will try the hot water job later... will it not leave a sticky mess? and would it be worthwhile spending the money on getting the ecu remapped when it is only a 2 litre petrol? cheers
  9. Cheers chaps Any other good websites for modifying bits? Couple more questions: 6. is it worth getting the ECU remapped? any advice? it's not something I've ever done before 7. any tips for removing the 318ci badge without !Removed! up the paintwork? Thank you kindly
  10. can someone give me a tip on the best way to debadge? mine only says 318ci so that's coming off!
  11. Greetings, I've just bought a 318ci, the first time I've owned a beemer and I'm very pleased with her. I just have a few initial queries to set me off on the happy path of ownership: 1. This is a coupe yes, rather than a compact? Dumb question I know 2. Can anyone recommend a website that sells decent mats, rather than paying BMW dealer prices 3. What sort of price should I be paying for a full window tint all round? 4. What sort of price should I be paying to have each alloy refurbished (mild kerbing/bubbling)? 5. Any good websites where I can buy any aftermarket bits to modify the car (I assume there will be loads) Much appreciated, Dan
