  1. Hi all, I'm on the lookout for a E46 330i Sport Touring to replace my E46 320d Sport Saloon. I've got a particular spec in mind as follows; 2004 onward E46 330i Sport Touring 6 speed manual FSH Lower mileage preferred but would consider a higher mileage if the is a comprehensive history Very good condition Metallic grey but would consider metallic blue Sunroof (not essential) Any help in finding a 330i to meet my requirements would be much appreciated As I've waited a while to be able to buy one. Many thanks Steve
  2. Hi all I've getting a sighing noise from the car as I come off the throttle (I know it's a diesel so doesn't have one!) and I'm a bit puzzled by it. It sounds like a release of pressure so I'm thinking possibly turbo related? It's done 138k miles, the vast majority on motorways, and is still pulling strong. There's no sign of any smoke and the turbo itself sounds like it always has. Any thoughts? Thanks Steve

  4. Hi Just need to pick your collective brains on this one. A few years back I had to change the rear springs on my 04 Sport Saloon to pass the MOT, however the only springs I could get at short notice were heavy duty ones which mean the car now sits too high at the back. I'm considering changing the rear springs again to get it sitting right and ideally want to use genuine BMW springs so if I can't find a set of exact replacement springs could I, for example, use coupe rear springs instead? I don't want to go to the expense of a full set of lowered springs as I'm hoping to change the car next year so any advice would welcome. Thanks
  5. Hello, I'm Steve, dweller of South Wales and long time BMW fan. Currrently on my third, an '04 320d Sport saloon, previous two were E30 325i's (interrupted by a couple of years with a hatchback SportKa but we'll gloss over that). I've been diesel powered for the last 3.5 years but feeling a straight six petrol itch so come the end of the year will probably scratch it with either an E46 or E90 330i Sport saloon.
