Nah it was dripping in oil.. All the other plugs seemed fine which originally made me think it was a piston ring...

Haha dam right!! I dont get why the drive through is so tight too! The one by me i struggle in my car to get round without kerbing the wheel, god knows how people in 4x4's or long saloons do it! I think we need Hammands big red Hummer to set a standard width restriction. I notice too when ur by the window collecting the food at any Maccy's the car sounds absolutley poo when it sounds good anywhere else =S

Mines been to Ibiza =p was last years lads holiday... Granted it was mainly on a boat... I live in Surrey but its been Glasgow, Padstow in Cornwall several times and goes birmingham once a month. Although iv had all these problems its not once missed a beat ( although miss fires) never broken down and always got me safely to where i wanna go.. Its got 142,000 miles atm, i bought it last january with 115,000, but its a happy car really... Its as tho it wants to go on forever and never see the sight of a crusher! Stupid i know but when ever i head down the drive and unlock her i picture a lil puppy wagging its tail happy to see me =D

Im up for it. Im Junction 8 of M25 but unless im Working i wont miss a Meet =D Ill confirm my attendance once there's a date =)

Everyone back in school had Saxo's / Clio's etc as their first car I like to be different so for less money than these matchbox cars bought a Beautiful BMW. Parked in the car park ended upshowing all the teachers, even the Headmaster who had a Jag XK8 =D

3 years ago I had two Pints of hieniken at a leaving do, felt completely fine, got in the car an hour later. Drove 20 non motorway miles before getting a random police check 3 miles away from home and got band for 10months. In hindsight this was 3am and i hadnt eaten since breakfast but nowadays i never drink because im always driving. However my bmw was brought back to the station following me in the police car as it was only round the corner and got nothing but compliments at the other end about how nice a car it is =D We had a good chat as he was walking me to my cell..

''POTHOLES" On my way to work this morning i went down the deepest pothole ever of which i couldnt avoid! Cracked two of my Beautiful BBS LM alloys right across the rim! Getting straight on the phone to the council! Just b***dy lucky iv a spare set of wheels at home! Right before next fridays car show too =( Preying it hasnt damaged my coilovers too! Dunno bout anyone else but my car is an absolute Money Pit! Fix one thing and the very next day something else goes wrong!

I thought i was the only one!!! Looking at all my e36's they've always sat lower on one side.. And iv had countless different suspension on it ( Surrey Potholes ) i thought i was being too picky... Glad someone else has brought this up =D

I had a similar knocking... Turned out to be a worn ball joint on the lower front control arm. Was so worn that when i jacked it up the ball joint popped right out. Considering id just come back from Manchester to Surrey my heart almost stopped! Lol Does the steering wheel judder on long bends or exiting large roundabouts?

Iv got 10000k xenons and 8000k halo's which always pass an MOT, iv been pulled over too and nothing was said as he looked round the car checking tyres etc..

Iv got 19" Staggered BBS LM on mine, Got spacers on the back and i dnt have any rubbing.. And mines low with coilovers =p

Im not sure if its because im so use to it compared to when i first got it, but it has felt less powerful... After cleaning up the spark plugs and tightening a couple bolts on the rocker cover it feels like iv gained some power back. Runs cleaner... I also Noticed some oil leaking towards the back of the engine, cleaned it off and gonna keep an eye on it over the next few days. But considering these bolts were kinda loose im preying it is just the gasket... I can do that on my next day off.. But considering oil was on the spark end of the spark plug makes me suspect its piston rings or valve guides

May i add: Its an e36 328i Sport with a Schrick inlet manifold and has been remapped. Duno if this may have contributed to the problem

Over the last couple weeks iv noticed my car is constantly popping and misfiring from the exhaust during deceleration or in gear with no throttle going down a hill. Got a day off today so i thought id check my spark plugs and low and behold one of the spark plug bores is filled with oil. After removing the oil i removed the spark plug and it was drowned in oil too. I have come to the collusion that its either: Worn Piston Rings Worn Bores Valve Cover Gasket is leaking Or maybe even all of these... Im a DIY machanic who's had many a engine apart.. Mainly my Camaro's as its for drag racing and always braking something.. but with current work commitments i just dont have time to do this job. Does anyone know of a cheap / reasonable priced machanic in or near Surrey who could diagnose the actual problem and solve it for me along with a rough cost. Im guessing its about 5 hours Labour. Many Thanks

Iv waited months for this episode! I cant get enough of edd and mike! After watching every episode they've done im soo happy they're finally doing an M5! If it ddnt cost me £4000 to insure one it would be an M5 sat on my drive without doubt!

Im defo coming... Taking 2 of my cars =D Camaro for the Saturday and BMW for the Sunday. Just need to work out how to get them both up there =S

My word of the day... PETROL!!! I must be the only one who hadnt watched the news... I got to work thismorning with enough petrol left to get me to a garage after i finish.. Running on fumes i just managed to get to a garage with petrol, but had to wait half an hour before geting to a pump =(

Excellent =D just hoping my clutch holds out till then =p
