N/s Front Door Handle Won't Open!!
Hi guys last night my n/s front door handle wouldn't open the door arrrggggggg!!! Another !Removed! problem!!, anyway , the back door handle done the same few months ago but managed to fix it, do you guys know if its easy to take the front door panel off ,as it has an airbag on it???

Hi., found out that its the steering angle sensor that's. at fault, so might have to get it re calibrated

Hi Jack thanks for your reply, I've just had the AA out to it,they can't find a fault with battery,but these lights are still on,I reckon the battery is 2years old,I bought the car last march,and I sure the last owner said she put a new battery on in 2011, but I'm kinda stuck now about these lights on,think I might have to take it somewhere to get them reset?

Hi,any thoughts,had to jump start my 2002 x5 3.0d,as I hadn driven it for a week?,anyway it started ok,but now I have the amber traction control light and amber brake and abs lights on dash and they won't go out?? Any ideas anyone?? Thanks!

HI,THINK MY SAT NAV /CD PLAYERS PACKED IN,IVE HEARD ABOUT UPGRADES PIONEER UNITS ETC WITH IPOD /SAT NAV ETC,IS THIS A GOOD IDEA? OR ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THE ORIGINAL UNIT OR EVEN REMOVE IT FROM THE DASH?? MANY THANKS Brucie.

2002 X5 Radio/cd High Pitched Distorted Noise ???
Hi,guys drove my bmw x5,to the shops earlier,came back out ,started her up to this high pitched distorted noise coming from the radio,tryed the cd does the same,took the fuse out ,tryed again its the same ,very strange??,its the sat nav model,any you guys had this problem,? its so annoying!!!,sounds like somethings packed in or connection loose?? how do you get into the back of these units?

Problem With My X5 Radio
Hi Alan i to had the same problem,and found out that it was a dodgy connection,if you open your boot,and in the rh cubby hole,you will see a fuse board,the radio fuse is a 30amp green fuse,just take it out ,make sure its not blown ,put it back in give it a wiggle,while the ignition is on and you should see the wee square orange light come back on.

Oil Drip When Parked On Driveway!!
hi,thanks for your reply,it definatly looks like engine oil,i think its dripping down into the engine cover,then onto the drive,i keep checking the dip stick and its always bang on,i think il have to get it up on a ramp and take the metal covers off and have a look,hopefully fingers crossed it will be a hose or something and nothing serious

hi guys,my x5 3.0d sport 2002 year,has a wee oil leak somewhere and its only noticeable when parked on my drive etc, ive been underneath it and took the plastic engine cover off,but i cant see where its coming from,just that there is a drop of oil landing in the engine undertray and then on my drive,ive checked the top end of the engine and cant see anything? any ideas anyone ,is this ever happened to you guys

iv got the same problem on my x5 ,when you put it in reverse the pdc green light flashes and makes a beep but obviously theres a faulty sensor somewhere ill check it out :D
