Hi all. Can anyone recommend decent tailgate struts for my e91. I’ve tried a few but they don’t seem to last more than a year or so and I don’t wanna pay main dealer prices. TIA

Hi everyone.I have a problem on my car. the glass portion of the tailgate now refuses to open. it worked a few months ago but now nothing. can you tell me if its a mechanical catch or is it electrical? Many thanks

Hi all. My front windscreen washer jets are quite weak and someone suggested the washer bottle filter could be blocked. It appears that the front wheel arch has to come off for access. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi mate On my regular commute to work which consists of A roads and country lanes, I get around 33 mpg, but then again my car is automatic. On a decent run at motorway speeds I get around 40-45mpg. I know I could have got more if I'd bought a manual, but I love the auto.

Thanks Dabsy, I think you might have something with the breather pipe because it only ever leaks when its filled right up. Any idea how I get to the breather pipe to check if its loose?

Hi all, When I fill my car to the first click with diesel, I noticed it leaks fuel for a while. If I fill it to just under full all is ok. Anyone come across this problem as well?

Hi all, My car passed it's MOT a couple of weeks ago but I got an advisory about the offside rear tyre being worn down almost to limit on the inside edge. Whilst I was checking the tyre I noticed that the wheel arch clearance is roughly an inch or so less on the drivers side, than on the passenger side, any ideas why this would be? It can't be that serious or it would have failed the test. I'm puzzled!

Hi all, Im sorry if this topic has been covered before so please be gentle with me. What exactly is a swirl flap? I've heard they can damage the engine.Does this apply to all the engines? Can anyone give me an idiots guide please?

Hi all, I'm a little confused.Whilst searching on E-bay for a rear wiper I'm unsure what E number my car is. it was first registered in December 2005. I think it's an E91, but as I'm new to BMW ownership I would welcome some help. Thanks in advance.

Hi all Can anyone please tell me the best place to get the rear wipers from? Halfords have them on special order and the online compny I usually use dont list the rear wiper. The car is a 55 plate touring.

Hi all, finally bought a BMW after 30 odd years of owning Fords and Vauxhalls. I must say that i'm very impressed with the car. My first question (and there will be a few more) is, what type and grade of engine oil should I use?
