Wheres The Furthest Your Bimmer Has Been
you had me going for a moment, then I read the full post. Just wish I had a bit more time to do all those little jobs on the car that need doing. It's really going downhill, when I got it it had only done 43,000 miles, considering I never spend any money on it, she's a beauty.

MPG
I managed to stick to 70 for a short period yesterday. The car was showing 34 mpg, the only trouble is I can't stick to 70 for long. The 328 has done 134,000 miles, never gets serviced, rarely gets an oil change and is generally abused by my right foot. Despite all this it will still go off the clock and accelerates like a cruise missile. What a !Removed! car,who said BMW's are expensive to maintain?

Fast Fit Oil?
recycled oil, shitI never realised such a thing existed. Is that what most of those fasting types of giving us? If so think I will have to get under the car and give it a go myself. At least that way I know what I'm getting.

Fast Fit Oil?
National tyres say they can do me a oil and filter change for 65 quid, using Castrol fully synthetic. One thing that worries me about these boys, that is the fast fit type operations, are they using the oil they claim to be. I had an oil filter done at Kwik-Fit not very long ago and ever since the yellow warning light comes on for a few seconds even though there's plenty of oil in the car. Any comments? Please feel free to discuss these matters.

X5 Or Not?
mate, nothing towing a big load does an acceptable mpg.I ran a land rover to Greece n back(twice) and it was lucky to see low twenties even at the slug like pace a defender travels at. I reckon the x5 wont give you any more than the lexy.
