Boat docks at 11:47 Friday evening,taxi to the train station,sleep on the platform til first train to down sarth, borrow a friends 750i,so I have just increased our combined engine size! -

Have you bleed all the air out of the coolant system?

To fill the cepter up is about 80 quid,when new the story book sorry I mean handbook said you should get about 280 miles to a tank,i struggle to get 200, Hey you only live once! Cant afford to bring it to the meet however

I dont think they are to bad on fuel,worth finding a tunnel to drive through once or twice

Whilst working out my sums on whether to fix the e39 or not,in addition to new bonnet,roof and screen it also needs 4 yes 4 new tyres! For last 8 years it has had dunlops fitted,however 255/40/17 dunlops are the best part of 200 quid each!fronts about 120 each! Which leads me to look at alternatives,so does anyone have any comments on the performance of hankook tyres? The car does 25,000 miles plus a year and quite often will travel at 100+ so tyres are quite important to me!
