  1. The loom was still attached to engine with the ecu. they said the fuse box is the same?
  2. Have just carried out a conversion to a 1990 4 pot 1600cc to a 6 pot 2000cc. Have the engine, g,box, 2000cc harness and ecu. The fault is has no spark, fuel pump, or injectors pulsing. Its like the ecu isnt getting correct power ignition feeds so can power thoses electrical items, but ecu has many power supplies. Does anyone have a wiring diamgram so can check has correct supplies? Also about 6inch away from the ecu connector on the 2000cc wiring harness it has x1 black 3 pin plug and x1 white 3 pin plug, do these do anything? Is the front engine bay fuse box the same for both cars? Thanks for any help, all be appreciated!!!
  3. Removed cylinder head and found numbers 4 + 6 pistons have holes in them! need two pistons and a full set of rings cheap! Any suggestions? Cheers
  4. Evening all, just bought a 1993 e36 320i. Hope to have a good driving experience with it.
  5. Hello all, just bought a 1993 e36 320i which apparantly over heated after going round m25 and sat in traffic. oil and coolant level ok and no white liquid on oil filler cap, found no compression at all on cylinders 6,5,4!? 1,2,3 all good. any ideas? would the head gasket cause 3 cylinders to fail or more serious cams, crank, valves issue? All help appreciated! Cheers.
