  1. Thanks for the advice. BMW have stated they are willing to thoroughly examine the car once back from repairers. I may still look for an independent assessment
  2. I have a 2 year old iX3. On 2 occasions now I have been moving into a parking slot and as I release the brake, the car has accelerated forward causing damage. The first time I thought it was something I had done but it happened again this week. The car shot forward into a tree and I guess there is a good few thousand £s of damage. I am sure I didnt hit the accelerator. Apart from the impact on getting the car repaired, increase in insurance premiums, so far no person has been involved. This problem has serious potential to injure or kill. I have decided I wont drive this vehicle again. Is anyone on the forum aware of this problem?
