  1. Today I tried to use the method that you kindly directed me to. Something happened as when I released the lock button the rear windows lowered & the sun roof opened. But no joy with the central locks, also now they wont operate from inside switch. Thanks, Harry
  2. You have been a great help with my problem, I will try this out tomorrow. Again thanks. Harry
  3. No, I have not tried to reprogram the key & have no idea how to do this. Thanks for your advice. Harry
  4. Hello again club, I have a problem with my central locking system on my 2002 x5. 90,000 miles. its 4.6 si. The central locks wont operate with the key, but they will work with the internal switch. I cant lock or open the doors with the key from outside either which makes me think that the key is not the problem. Can anyone assist me please. Thanks.
  5. Thanks again for your replies & advice.
  6. Thank you all for the replies, the car has done 90,000 miles. So i fear it may be the bushes. I must get it checked out. Harry.
  7. I am a new member so first hello everyone, I am the owner of a 2002 X5 4.6si. The suspension is very noisey. Seems to be from the rear. There is a very annoying squeek which is quite loud. It sounds that something is needing grease or oil. Can anyone tell me what the problem is please??
