Thanks Dave. iDrive shows to me that rear brake pads are worn and needs replacement. I am surprised.. Do you think this is normal for the rear ones to get worn at 18k miles?

Hello all, i own a BMW 420i model 2023 and brake pads worn this night to me while driving. the car just completed one year and mileage is 18k miles, is it normal that brake pads worn ? Most of my drive is on highways which normally do not need any brakes. i have understanding usable life for brake pads are at least 30k miles. let me know your thoughts.
