What do you do when your run flat tyre implodes, and the bmw repair aerosol doesnt work ( On a sunday afternoon , far from home ! )

My 2011 BMW X1's differential exploded after 50000 miles. BMW kindly covered the cost of parts, and I contributed towards the labour. Now at 13 years old the transmission has failed. Is it repairable or do a scrap an otherwise good car
