Bmw5

Hi all, i dont know if i should be concerned, but i recently purchased a bmw 1 series 1.5 auto twin turbo, only 30k on the clock, when i go around 60 mph and press down the acceleration i can hear a very light whine sound from the left hand side, is this normal? Maybe the turbo sound? someone mentioned its normal but wanted to double check. Thanks in advance
