Dave my mate (very exp)changed the dual mass fly wheel clutch and release bearing . I haven’t checked heat shields but will tonight. Just tried start and switching off with clutch it’s just the same as without. when i switch off the car actually feel like it rocks from side to side just once John

I wonder if anyone can advise. l have E46 330d saloon sport on 80k miles I get an annoying rattle/shudder when I start car and also when I turn off engine. I had dual mass flywheel clutch etc replaced which was definitely the correct thing to do as they were almost knackered, but I still have same problem but not as aggressive/bad. I want to sell above in near future as I don’t use it enough and want problem resolved before I put it on market cheers in advance Jake
