Hi All, Just been told small turbo has gone and mechanic can send it away to be refurbished and depending on work needed it will be between £250-£475 OUCH!..Would you recommend getting larger turbo looked at as well, myself and mechanic are undecided. I do have a warranty with RAC but they want to send me to a chain (tyre fitting) garage and I just don't trust them!

Thanks Dave, So just to clarify, Diff Oil change will look after the XDrive and for Transfer Case Oil read Gearbox? Is this correct

Morning all, I am hoping someone far more wise than me can advise...my E84 X25d has just ticked over 60K, should I be considering a change in gearbox oil? Also, does the XDrive system have any requirements, such as diff oil change?

Happy New Year All, I need a couple of new tyres on the E84 X1 25d M sport, it currently has 2 OEM Bridgestone's on the from and a Goodyear and an Eagle on the rear, all run flats and good tread. What are the views on putting 4 normal tyres on? Will it compromise ride or noise? Cheers

Hi All, Mrs has cracked the O/S rear Bumper deflector, are these easy to change (clip in) or does the whole bumper need to come off!!! Also, any recommendations to get one from? Cheers RL

Thanks Greydog, Ill take a look online, quite like the idea of a fold out protector. By the way, tried the lock button but it doesn't work, they only fold in and out from the switch on the drivers door. Cheers

Happy Bank Holiday Monday all, New member and recently bought a 2014 XDrive 25d and absolutely loving the car, its in a dark grey, I think its the E84 Engine? I do have a couple of questions if anyone could help.... Can I programme the mirrors to fold in when I lock the door? I cant seem to find it in IDrive? Due to the colour I and the potential for scratches I would like to fit those clear protectors behind the door handles and also fit a protector along the rear bumper for when things are being loaded, possibly a black in colour, has anyone got any pics of theirs already done as well as any links to purchase please? I need to source a piece of trim for the drivers door, any good suppliers? Thanks in advance Rl
