2007 e70 ac compressor not working

Hi I have a 2007 e70 3.0. I replaced the blower motor and ac compressor and the ac is still not working. Clutch isn't engaging. Any ideas? It takes the freon but nothing happens

Hi, I have a 2007 BMW X5 e70. I've replaced the blower motor and ac compressor and it is still not working. What else can I do? Any help warranted
