  1. I’ve spent a pretty penny on this car since I purchased it last year, I bought it from a guy who never really used it much and only had 4 owners since 2007, the car already has 360BHP with 700NM and she’s defo a goer lol, I’ve upset a few high performance cars so far, I had a small amount of movement in the original lci shifter which to be fair the car is currently sitting on 142,000 and I was going to buy a brand new standard one until I seen the sat version which looks much better, I also purchased a new idrive button while I was there so the price rose to £999.94 (shifter, ecu, surround and sport button), the steering wheel that’s on it came from a place in Germany and is half leather half alacant (looks nice) it’s fair to say I’m pretty anal with my cars and like them to look the part (not over kill) I’ve spent a few quid in bmw as I’ve always been a believer in “buy genuine buy once” so all the seals, gaskets, hoses, brakes ect are all genuine plus a full set of tyres (uniroyals) wheels refurbed new badges all round headlights spotlights the list is endless but she looks almost new again, the only thing I’m struggling to get is mud flaps for it as they are no longer in production for the m sport model but I’ll keep looking to see if someone’s braking one that has a set
  2. Hi Dave I’ve actually just been and bought the sat setup from bmw (£900) but the steering wheel plus other ad ons was starting to give my wallet the fear so now I know it’s achievable without the steering wheel is really good news, I just need to find a specialist that will do the software as bmw told me when I purchased this I have no warranty as it’s not for my car, I asked if they could do the software setup and that was an instant no also, I’ll keep you posted on my success. thank you
  3. Can you go from the standard lci shifter to SAT? I’m only looking to do the shifter as I’ve got a fancy steering wheel and wouldn’t like to have to change it again? My main question is would it be possible to flash the gearbox with the sat software and tell it there is no paddles in the program? (E60 535D 07/57)
