Thanks for your reply! The car will be at home. I’ll be getting a cover for it to help against the elements. BMW sales tells me that a full charge of the EV battery will keep the 12V from depleting but I’m always questioning things. Maybe i should ask the service center instead. I think I’ve read somewhere that the newer cars have that capability but i wanted to make sure cause i don’t want to come home and find out my car won’t start.

Hello all. New to this forum. I am currently in South Korea and will be receiving my new 2022 530e PHEV next month. I am wondering how to leave my car so that the 12V battery doesn't deplete when I get back from business trips. Sometimes I may be gone for 3 weeks. Do I leave the plug in the whole time? Or will a full charge be enough to hold the 12V from depleting? Cheers. David
