    After some more research it appears the aerial is the left slot and appears to be broken! Damn.

    Hi all new here, got a 1 series convertible last week and it had next to no radio reception. Whipped the radio out today and the aerial isn’t connected so that explains that. However. The connections on the aerial cable and the back of the radio are different. I’ve never seen either of them before so I’m struggling to find some sort of adaptor/go between to get them connected. Hopefully the photos of the back of the head unit and the cable have uploaded. Any help appreciated. Many thanks. I’m off to read all about these cars now. Only had it a few days but absolutely love it!
