Intrmittent Battery Light
hi lads, my intermittent battery light and splutter turned out to be a crank case sensor and squashed breather pipe! still all done and i had a lambda sensor replaced while i was there and got relieved of 400 quid for the trouble. Got quoted 800 at bmw for the same job so it took the sting out of it a little. thanks for the feedback on the complaint i had and if you all manage to get a split second misfire and a battery light on for a flash it will be the crank sensor

Intrmittent Battery Light
has anybody any ideas on my bmw prob? maybe once every 2 days for a split second the engine coughs for a milli second and a quick flash of the battery light, as i said for a milli second. does not happen on tick over and yesterday had the beast on the diagnostic computer at the garage i use but it showed no prblems ? machanic was stumped on this problem and thinks it may be a 400 quid repair replacing crank sensor and cam sensor.. has anybody any idea what it may be bmw 316ti 2003 thanks paul
