Hi Daz,
Pictures of my B12 and my 760Li ACschnitzer full conversion in the newbie forum now. I have finished with either car yet, but they are coming along.
I've also got an armoured E32 750iL built for a Malaysian sultan, but I am thinking of, selling that- need a good deisel for every day use - say Merc E350DCI Estate or a Jag XF.
all the best

Hello everyone,
I posted for the first time a couple of days ago looking for a working fridge to put into a BMW 750i (2000-X) Alpina B12 that I bought in Decemeber and had beautifully restored to near 'concours' condition by a talented engineer and fellow Alpina-lover in Harston, Cambs. I was asked to post some pics - taken this afternoon (very hastily) in dazzling sunlight. I hope that you can enlarge/zoom-in - only a tiny digital camera! The Alpina has done 95,000 miles but went back to the Alpina factory in Buchloe, Germany for a complete engine & gearbox re-build @ 58,000 miles - cost £15,000! I've had rear-entertainment put in and upgraded 9" DVD-based navigation too. Also had all the proper badges and decals added.
I thought that I might also include some pics of my BMW 760Li AC Schnitzer full factory conversion. 55,000 miles, 2003 and absolutely loaded.
I hope the pictures are expandable .....

Hi Dabsy,
your right - the 'architecture' of the 750i and the 750iL are the same. It's only when you come to the panel in the boot that conceals it all and I can have one custom made locally. Getting the fridge is the hard part!
all the best

Hello,
This my first post. I have recently bought a BMW Alpina B12 E-Kat 6.0 year-2000(X). It's an E38 SWB car. It has been very skillfully restored for me over the last 6 months and now looks stunning.
I am looking for a working fridge (coolbox) to add to it - the type that fixes into the rear seat centre arm-rest aperture (recess) and is accessed by lowering the arm rest. The compressor itself protrudes into the boot space, but this does not worry me as I have other cars for daily use and the B12 is really only a show car now.
I am aware that fridges were almost exclusively fitted to LWB cars with the luxury rear-east package, but I have seen what I want done before.
Any chance????
