  1. That's really helpful, thanks. So am I right in thinking that there's nothing that's been sent from the car to BMW to say it's a real issue - they're just touting for business as you say, based maybe on the age of the car?
  2. A quick question which I'm hoping someone's come across before. I've had an email today from BMW Hungerford (my local garage), saying "Based on data from your BMW, your 3 Series Touring has been identified as having poor starter battery health. We therefore recommend you replace your battery at a BMW Service Centre as soon as possible" We have 2016 F31 3-Series 330i M Sport 2.0 5dr, with stop/start. Should I trust this email, or are they just touting for business? Don't really want to pay BMW prices for a new battery, and haven't seen any warning in the car itself about the battery health?
