the sensors wouldnt be an oblong black plastic box that i can see poking out by the windscreen vent outlet?? been wondering what that is!!

i have a 5 series 525I se e39 model.and i have noticed a problem with my heating system. the heat comes out 100% on the drivers side top and bottom vents but cold on the passenger side top and bottom vents regardless of any settings. anyone got any ideas as to my problem... my feet are boiling, my wife's are freezing!!
hi! just bought my e39 525ise! what a machine! missed my old 323ise ever since i sold her a few years ago, just had to come back for another bite of the apple!!
