525d wont start in BMW 5 Series Forum Posted May 13, 2020 my 2002 525d will not start as it thinks it is still in gear and showing S on the dashboard cluster, It shows 1 when gear lever is pushed over to the left but will not show D,N,R,and P when gear lever is back in automatic mode Does anyone out there know how to rectify?
