    Ecu Replacment

    hi all i have recently got a new ecu (off ebay) for my e46 323 that comes with key i came to a understanding that i just cant plug and play the ecu due to the imobiliser in the key or am i wrong if im right is it possible to replace the chip in my key with the one that came with the ecu dont know if this is wrote very well but i hope you can understand it

    hi yes sorry aint been on for a while been awqy with work its red the car does turn over when attempting to start but not much else will a new ecu with same codes just bolt on and go or will i have to do somthing else to it many thanks all for your help

    hi all my bmw does not start got a mechanic in and he said that there is a signal going to the ecu to fire but none coming out from the ecu is this just a new ecu repair or is there further problems many thanks
