Hi Greydog, thanks for message. i driving 2011, 520d 184 bhp. Now it has 130000km but the noise is since o got it so around 120000. I heard this accidentally because you won’t hear it when door are closed. I bought it on warranty so they told me is nothing out of the source but I don’t believe them. Hi All, I have strange noise coming out when starting car on cold. The noise last around 5 seconds and is gone. Sounds like lose chain noise. I had chain probe test done in bmw and it passed so not sure what can cause this noise. It’s only when car is fully cold. Any suggestions more than welcome.
