E65 How You Finding It
As some of you may no I've resently sold the 4.6is X5 and bought a 735i on a 2002 plate was just wondering how you getting on with yours ie performance , mpg and any issues you have had or know about that I should be looking out for . Mines done 82,000 miles with full history Regards Chris

Hi mate I just sold my 4.6is there are a couple of things to look for . First the rear subframe bushes only have a life span of 80/90k so check these have been done as its a £400 + job Second is they are prone to gearbox problems at about 100k Three front sway arms can wear at 80/90k I found these out the hard/expensive way. If your going for petrol the 4.6 is would be first choice in my opinion as its more powerfully than the 4.4 and less to insure than the 4.8 . As for diesel it's for buses, taxis, and lorrys !!!

hi Al i not messed about with the window to much yet had a right good look under seat for third socket its nowhere to be found and i lifted the bonnet to have a look at the lights and there is so many covers in the way i cant get to the lights to investigate all you get at under there is the oil filler and rad expantion tank

hi guys had the 7 series a few days now and have discovered a few little niggle bits 1 the pasenger window makes a scraping noise on its way down and needs help going back up 2 there are three seat belt straps in the back but only two belt sockets 3 the halo lights arnt that bright any ideas would be helpfull
