  1. Got new pads on order as checked against ones at local mechanic and mine are about 4 cm bigger allowing the pads to clink against carrier
  2. I'm with you I say pads are too small .
  3. Yeah and also I just put 2 new ones on
  4. Yep everything is tight only thing seems loose is pads you can move then easy on the car
  5. Understand pads move but when you slide pads on the carrier mine seen too small for the space . Awkward to explain but when you brake the pads go upwards and hit I would say the part that holds them
  6. Can front brake pads differ in size ? As mine seem to be clonking when i brake . They sound like they are hitting the carrier and when I removed brake pads to inspect they seem very loose fit . Thanks
  7. Hi all When I put my foot on brake I get a clocking . Checked pads and seem like as I brake they move and hit carrier , also when i removed pads they just fall out really easy . Could the pads be just a tad too small or any suggestions how i can check this . X3 2006 diesel
  8. Hi Can anyone tell me live wire colour on my 06 x3 😁 thank you
  9. Hi I'm new to group so hope you all bear with me I'm going to fit running lights to my x3 using a relay that I have had before and found very good . The problem I have is that the relay connects straight to be battery, that's ok for the positive as supply can be found under bonnet but I need a negative too , that's where I'm stuck😥
